Your partner for exhibition stand construction at Messe München

With 18 halls and around 200,000 square metres of hall space, Messe München in Riem ranks among the largest exhibition grounds in Europe, complemented by extensive outdoor areas. The roughly 650-metre-long atrium connects the halls, while the integrated ICM (Internationales Congress Center) adds congresses to the trade fair programme. The MOC event centre in the north of Munich is a second venue for smaller fairs and events. Exhibiting here means competing in a distinctly international environment.

We plan the route to Munich via the A3 and A9 with clear lead times and our own vehicle fleet: on request, the installation crew stays overnight on site so that set-up and dismantling succeed even in tight time windows. Design, construction and installation stay with one team throughout.

Munich uses three venues: Messe München in Riem, the ICM and the MOC in the north. An exhibition stand builder therefore settles first where your stand is going, because hall dimensions, delivery and build-up times differ noticeably between them. From there we handle the build in full: design, production in our own workshop, transport with our own fleet and assembly by the same crew. Anyone having a stand built in Munich deals with one contact instead of a chain of trades.

Our Exhibition Stand Services in Munich

Concept & Design

Stand idea, spatial storytelling and 3D visualisation are developed for a distinctly international audience: at bauma, IFAT or electronica you meet visitors from all over the world.

Your exhibition stand therefore communicates through architecture and imagery, understood in every language and memorable long after the visit.

Stand Construction & Production

Every component is prefabricated in our own workshop with CNC machining and paint shop.

For the long journey to Munich we pre-assemble and inspect with particular care, because whatever goes onto the lorry has to fit together first time in Riem.

Graphics & Print

Large-format graphics, light boxes and lighting design are dimensioned for Munich’s large halls, where small-scale presences quickly get swallowed.

Clear sightlines, bold brand marks and legible messaging ensure your stand draws visitors in from the Atrium, the central axis of the fairground.

Rental Furniture & Technology

Furniture, media and event technology are planned into your stand concept from the outset and travel to Munich bundled with the stand.

One delivery, one set-up, one handover: the fit-out stays coherent and your organisational workload remains pleasantly manageable.

Logistics & Transport

Our fleet takes on the roughly 390 kilometres via the A3 and A9, right up to the hall gates in Riem.

Load, route and time slot are planned with generous reserves, so your material stands ready on time even amid heavy build-up traffic around Messe München.

Installation & Dismantling

Installation and dismantling are carried out by our own team, which knows your stand from the workshop floor.

When build-up windows are tight, the assembly crew stays overnight in Munich and continues straight on next morning until your stand is inspected and ready for handover.

Storage

After the show your stand elements return to our digitally organised warehouse in the Rhine-Main region.

There they are cleaned, serviced and inventoried, so the next appearance in Munich or elsewhere builds on existing stock. The investment pays off from the second show onwards.

On-Site Support

Your dedicated contact personally accompanies your appearance in Riem, at the ICM or at the MOC and stays reachable throughout the run.

For Munich projects we define tools, spare material and responsibilities up front, so matters on site are resolved swiftly.

03 — Build Type

Rent an exhibition stand or build a custom one

In Munich we plan with extra foresight, and this is where the rental stand plays to its strengths: Aluvision systems can be reused across several trade fairs, cost-efficient, fast and sustainable. Where your brand needs maximum impact, we build a fully custom exhibition stand instead, tailored precisely to you.

  • Rent: modular, reusable, predictable costs, including set-up and dismantling in Munich.
  • Custom build: uncompromising brand impact, special constructions up to a second level.
04 — Flagship Fairs

Exhibition stands for Munich’s flagship trade fairs

Munich combines global flagship fairs with a distinctly international audience: bauma is regarded as the world’s largest trade fair, while IFAT and electronica set worldwide benchmarks in their sectors. Exhibitors compete here with elaborate stand architecture for attention, which makes an experienced hand in concept and execution all the more valuable. 06 — Costs

How much does an exhibition stand in Munich cost?

The price depends on stand size, build type, technology and graphics. A modular rental stand costs less than a custom brand experience with special constructions. We include transport and set-up to Munich transparently in the quote, so your costs are predictable from the start.

07 — Process

How your exhibition stand project in Munich unfolds

Consultation

We begin with your goals, your budget and the floor space at your Munich fair.

Because of the longer journey we deliberately build generous production and logistics buffers into the plan and agree a schedule together that holds through to the first day. You start the project with clarity.

Design

In the design step your stand concept takes shape as a 3D visualisation, conceived for Munich’s big stage and its international audience.

We refine the draft, materials and lighting mood in feedback rounds with you while preparing statics, technical planning and the organiser documents in parallel.

Production

Production happens entirely in our workshop, including graphics, surfaces and technology.

All modules are pre-assembled, inspected and packed securely for transport, because thorough preparation counts on the route to Munich. What is planned cleanly here saves valuable hours during set-up in Riem.

Set-up

Via the A3 and A9 we bring your stand the roughly 390 kilometres to Riem on schedule.

The assembly team plans for multi-day deployments and stays overnight on site when build-up windows are tight, until stand, lighting and technology are approved and ready for opening day.

Support & Dismantling

During the show we keep in touch and take care of everything that comes up at the stand.

After the final day comes dismantling, then return transport and storage in the digitally managed warehouse. Groundwork for your next Munich fair is already done.

08 — Trust

Brands we support nationwide

For brands such as Bosch, Steiner Optik, Kiepenkerl and Sperli we build exhibition stands right across Germany, from compact trade fair presences to generous brand spaces. The promise behind each project stays the same: considered design, clean craftsmanship and a process you can rely on. Our reference projects from many industries offer an overview.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about exhibition stands in Munich

Stand size, build type, technology and graphics determine the price. Modular rental stands start in the low four-figure range, custom brand experiences are priced higher. Because Munich is our most distant venue, we itemise transport and set-up particularly clearly in the quote, so there are no surprises.
Yes. We manufacture in our own workshop in the Rhine-Main region and deliver to Messe München with our own vehicle fleet. Via the A3 and A9, the grounds in Munich-Riem are around four hours away. Transport, set-up and dismantling are handled by our own team, with overnight stays on site if needed.
Particularly relevant for stand construction are electronica, EXPO REAL, BAU, transport logistic and SEMICON Europa. We plan and build your appearance for all of these flagship fairs.
Yes. Alongside the exhibition grounds in Riem with the integrated ICM, we also realise stands and presentation areas at the MOC event centre in the north of Munich. Concept, construction, logistics and set-up are handled by the same team in both cases.
For Munich it is best to plan three to six months ahead, as the longer journey and the sought-after set-up slots at the Riem grounds leave little room for manoeuvre. Very short-notice requests are something we absorb with our own workshop and vehicle fleet.
We prefabricate your stand in our Offenbach workshop, transport it to Munich with our own vehicle fleet and handle set-up, handover and dismantling after the fair. You arrive and take over a finished stand.
They settle the venue first. Munich uses three: Messe München in Riem, the ICM congress centre and the MOC in the north. Hall dimensions, delivery and build-up times differ noticeably, and the whole plan rests on that. A good exhibition stand builder also tells you what technology and power your stand needs before you order from the organiser. We take that coordination off your desk.
