Exhibition Stand Builder Hanover

Exhibition Stands Hanover.

392,453 square metres of hall space, the largest covered exhibition area in Germany. At that scale a stand only works once it can be recognised from the far end of the aisle. We plan it with exactly that reach in mind, build and install it entirely ourselves, and deliver via the A5 and A7.

Your partner for exhibition stands at the Hanover fairground

The Hanover fairground brings together 24 halls and pavilions with 392,453 square metres of hall space, plus 58,000 square metres of exhibition area outdoors. That makes it the largest covered exhibition area in Germany. The three areas West, Centre and East each have their own infrastructure and can be used separately, which spreads out build traffic and access routes.

That scale shapes stand construction. In a hall where the view runs for hundreds of metres, the appearance that wins is the one using height and staying legible from a distance. So we settle early which elements carry that reach: backlit logos, a tall rear wall finish, clear wayfinding graphics above the meeting zones. Only then do we turn to the details that work close up.

Then there is the character of the Hanover fairs. At Hannover Messe, LIGNA, Agritechnica and IAA Transportation, machines, tractors and commercial vehicles stand on the floor, often weighing several tonnes. These exhibits enter the hall before the stand is built, so the order runs the other way round: exhibit first, stand around it. We align our delivery with that, drive the 330 kilometres via the A5 and A7 with our own fleet, and schedule a buffer day so the build day stays calm.

Hannover is the largest exhibition ground in the world, and every route shows it. An exhibition stand builder who works here regularly picks access and time slot to match the hall, usually via the Messeschnellweg B6 and the Messe-Süd exit. We handle the entire build from workshop to assembly and stay reachable through one contact during the fair, so short routes remain possible even on a vast site.

Our exhibition stand services in Hanover

Concept & design

We develop the stand idea, spatial layout and 3D visualisation to suit your target hall in Hanover. If a large exhibit occupies the floor, the concept follows it.

The stand frames the machine instead of competing with it for attention.

Stand construction

Your stand is built entirely in our workshop, where CNC technology, joinery and paint shop work hand in hand. Every element is checked and trial-assembled before loading.

What fits in the workshop also fits in a hall with heavy transports moving through it at the same time.

Graphics & print

Large-format printing, backlit logos and clear wayfinding graphics deliver the visual reach that counts in Hanover, because the aisles are long and the halls are wide.

We produce with colour accuracy in house and install to millimetre fit, so your brand stays legible across the full length of the hall.

Rental furniture & technology

Counters, seating, media technology and lighting are selected to match the concept and delivered to Hanover together with the stand.

One delivery, one team, everything connected and function-tested before the first visitor enters the hall.

Logistics & transport

With our own fleet we drive your stand via the A5 and A7 straight to the grounds, timed to your set-up window and to the transport of your exhibit.

The 330 kilometres are firmly scheduled, including reserve for traffic and access. Your material stays in our hands from loading to hall.

Installation & dismantling

Set-up and dismantling are handled by our own crew, aligned with the build times of Deutsche Messe.

If your exhibit is already in place, we build around it and keep the access routes clear. Spare parts for the usual wear points travel with us as a matter of course.

Storage

After the fair your stand elements move into our digitised warehouse in the Rhine-Main region.

Every part is recorded and maintained, so your stand is ready again quickly for the next edition in Hanover or another location. That lowers costs and saves resources.

On-site support

Throughout the fair you have one dedicated contact who has known your project from the start.

For Hanover dates a fitter stays on site until opening, so adjustments to the stand are dealt with quickly.

03 — Build type

Rent an exhibition stand or build a custom one

Many of Hanover's leading fairs run on a two-year cycle, with dates in other cities in between. That is exactly when a modular build pays off: with Aluvision systems we create appearances that can be reused, with fresh graphics and an adjusted footprint. If your brand is to stand out to the fullest in those wide halls, we plan a custom stand tailored precisely to you.

  • Rent: modular, reusable, predictable costs, including set-up and dismantling in Hanover.
  • Build custom: full design freedom, maximum visual reach, special constructions up to double-deck.
04 — Leading fairs

Exhibition stands for Hanover's leading trade fairs

Hanover is the stage for the heavy subjects: industry, woodworking, agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles, animal farming. Visitors arrive with investment decisions in mind and want to touch technology, compare it and see it running. Stands here need floor space for exhibits and quiet zones for conversation. These dates are currently in the calendar:

These figures give you a reliable basis for planning your stand in Hanover:

06 — Costs

What does an exhibition stand in Hanover cost?

The price depends on stand size, build type, technology and graphics. A modular rental stand sits below a custom brand appearance with special construction. In Hanover the size of the halls adds to it: reaching people from a distance means building taller, and that shows in material and installation time. We itemise transport, accommodation and set-up separately in the quote. You can see exactly which share goes to the stand and which to the logistics.

07 — Process

How your exhibition stand project in Hanover runs

Consultation

In the first conversation we clarify goals, budget, stand area and your Hanover fair date. That includes whether an exhibit is coming onto the floor and when it will be delivered.

We recommend a realistic schedule; a few months of lead time give you the widest choice of space, material and design.

Design

Our designers translate your goals into a stand concept with 3D visualisation, drawn to scale for your hall.

You see materials, colours and sightlines in advance and give feedback until the design is right. In parallel we prepare structural calculations and registrations with Deutsche Messe.

Production

Your stand is built in our workshop and fully trial-assembled there. Only once everything fits does it go on the truck.

We design the floor structure to match the weight and access route of your exhibit.

Set-up

We deliver with our own fleet, usually a day before the set-up window and aligned with the transport of your exhibit.

The crew stays overnight and starts in the morning with the full day ahead. Technology, lighting and graphics are checked before we hand the stand over to you.

Support & dismantling

Throughout the fair we stay reachable and handle small adjustments directly.

After the final day we dismantle, load and bring your stand elements back to the warehouse, where they are prepared for the next appearance.

08 — Trust

Brands we look after across Germany

From Bosch through Steiner Optik to Kiepenkerl and Sperli: these brands have had us deliver their trade fair appearances for years, at locations all over Germany and across many industries. For Simpson Strong-Tie we built a double-deck stand at Dach+Holz, a format that comes into its own in Hanover's tall halls as well. Our references from stand construction and event design show what reliable work means in practice.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about exhibition stands in Hanover

The decisive factors are stand size, build type, technology and graphics. A modular rental stand starts in the low four-figure range; a custom brand appearance costs more. Hanover halls are large, so stands are often planned taller and with more visual reach, which shows in material and installation time. Hanover is around 330 kilometres from our workshop, and we itemise transport, accommodation and set-up separately in the quote.
Yes. We manufacture in our own workshop in the Rhine-Main region and deliver to Hanover with our own fleet via the A5 and A7. The stand is usually on site a day before the set-up window, and the crew stays overnight so the full build day belongs to your stand.
Particularly relevant for stand construction are Hannover Messe for industry, LIGNA for woodworking, IAA Transportation for commercial vehicles, Agritechnica for agricultural machinery, EuroTier for animal farming, DOMOTEX for floor coverings and Tire Technology Expo. We plan and build your appearance for all of these fairs.
With 392,453 square metres of hall space, Hanover has the largest covered exhibition area in Germany, and the individual halls are correspondingly wide. A flat stand disappears at that scale. We therefore work with height, backlit logos and clear wayfinding graphics, so your brand is legible from the far end of the aisle and the way to your stand stays obvious.
Yes, and in Hanover that is the rule rather than the exception. Machines, tractors and commercial vehicles usually arrive before the stand is built, so the build order runs the other way round: exhibit first, stand around it. We coordinate our delivery with your exhibit transport and plan the floor structure so that loads and access routes fit.
Yes. Rental stands based on Aluvision are also available for the Hanover fairground, including individual graphics and equipment. This is particularly worthwhile if Hanover sits in your calendar alongside a second or third fair each year.
They allow for the distances. Hannover is the largest exhibition ground in the world; twenty minutes on foot between two halls is normal. That affects delivery as much as on-site support during the fair. An experienced exhibition stand builder therefore picks the access route to match your hall, here usually the Messeschnellweg B6 and the Messe-Süd exit. We deliver with our own fleet and keep one contact on site.
