Steiner Optik at the IWA.
For Steiner Optik we built an 80 m² head-end stand at the IWA in Nuremberg that makes premium binoculars and optical devices a hands-on experience and combines them with digital content into a hybrid product world.
Making optics an experience, analogue and digital
Steiner Optik thrives on a quality you only understand once you look through the glass. The task was therefore not just to display the products at the IWA, but to invite visitors to try them out while conveying technical details digitally. The brief called for a stand concept that connects both worlds and can be reused flexibly at future trade fairs.
Modular stand-alone presenters at the centre
The heart of the stand were modular stand-alone presenters that can be arranged individually or in a row, depending on stand size. Here, visitors could pick up and test the binoculars and optical devices themselves. Integrated displays added technical details, possible applications and special features interactively.
In this way we combined hands-on product experience and digital information into a coherent whole. Because the base modules are designed to be scalable and reusable, the concept works regardless of event format and stand size, a sustainable and economically sound solution.
A brand experience that informs and excites
Steiner Optik presented itself at the IWA as modern and inviting. The combination of hands-on testing and digital depth created a brand experience that did not just inform visitors but got them excited about the products. The modular base remains in place as an investment for future appearances.
